  I've loved Splashdown since I first hear Ironspy when I was eleven years old. Now at eighteen I go back and renew my interest in them. So underappriciated they are.

  I was lucky enough to meet Adam Buhler in a Hollywood Video in Boston about 5 years ago. He was as surprised to be recognized as I was to see him. Being a bass player and a big Splashdown fan from Rochester, NY (they did well there), I had to introduce myself. He was cool as hell and even took down my address. A few weeks later, a burned copy of the whole Blueshift album (never released) showed up in my mailbox. Such a great band, and such a shame that corporate record label mergers are basic... More...   These guys were amazing, they had a hit with Mayan Pilot on the radio, but you couldn't get Redshift or Blueshift anywhere - never understood that. Shame, that. I would love it if they would get back together!!
