STAIND TOURING IN SUPPORT OF NEW ALBUM THE ILLUSION OF PROGRESS TOUR LAUNCHES OCTOBER 4 IN COLUMBIA, MD
Los Angeles, CA (September 22, 2008) – As they begin their third consecutive week atop Billboard's Modern Rock Chart with smash hit single, "Believe," multi-platinum hard rock quartet STAIND has added extra dates to their upcoming road jaunt with special guests Seether, Papa Roach, and .. dates, Red. The much-buzzed-about tour begins October 4th at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. Fans can go to www.staind.com for ticket information.
STAIND is touring in support of new album THE ILLUSION OF PROGRESS, which debuted on Billboard's Top 200 at No. 3, making it the fourth consecutive album of STAIND's career to debut in the top 3.
THE ILLUSION OF PROGRESS is STAIND's sixth album and the follow-up to 2005's certified platinum Chapter V. The album was produced by Johnny K and recorded in Lewis' home studio with guitarist Mike Mushok , drummer Jon Wysocki, and bassist Johnny April.
