We recently announced our big US 2010 "Lefty Rides Again" tour, but this week we have added additional February US dates in Montana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina! We are also psyched to announce that State Radio is heading over to Europe and the UK next year! Here are the new dates across the pond:

Dec 03, 01:52 PMCASTING CALL: Extras Wanted for "Knights of Bostonia" Music Video!
Come be in State Radio's first official music video! Chad, Chuck, and Mad Dog will be transformed into urban knights, and liberate a group of school kids in order to fill their "Knights of Bostonia" ranks. The police chase the whole gang to a Boston fort and prepare to capture them. Suddenly, an ARMY OF KNIGHTS descend upon the scene, scare away the police, and join State Radio in singing the last verses of the song.
We need State Radio fans to make up our army of knights! Come one and come all! Shooting will be on Monday December 14th at Fort Revere in Hull, Massachusetts. You will need to dress in all black, and bring a metal trash can lid as your shield. For more information, please send an email to: knightsofbostonia@gmail.com.

Nov 19, 09:37 AMHoliday Care Package Assembly Party at Brooklyn Bowl on 11/28!On Saturday, November 28th, Calling All Crows will host a care package assembly party at Brooklyn Bowl to benefit soldiers serving overseas this holiday season. The service event is free, open to the public, and will culminate with performances by members of State Radio, Guster, Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers, and fun. – all on stage at Brooklyn Bowl!
Live music fans in NYC for Thanksgiving Weekend are asked to arrive with care package donations (see list of items below). Volunteers will write letters to troops, thank them for their service, and pack the notes with care packages to be shipped to Iraq and Afghanistan in time for the holiday season. Cash donations will also be collected to help offset international shipping costs.

Ramen noodles, Easy Mac, peanut butter, energy bars, etc.. (food must be pre-packaged)

This week we have a VERY SPECIAL TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT. This will be the biggest/most extensive tour we have announced in State Radio history. The tour is also extra special because we are featuring shows in Providence, RI, Montclair, NJ, and Philadelphia, PA that have surprise guests in store. For these shows State Radio will play some of their best sets ever. To top it all off, the shows will be recorded for a future live CD release.
We are also excited to announce a 2-night stand in DC at the 9:30 Club with special guests and unique set lists.

Last year’s inaugural Calling All Crows benefit weekend with co-founder Chad Stokes was an intimate, sold out pair of acoustic shows at the Brattle Theater in Cambridge, MA. If you were there or heard the recording, you know how incredible it was to hear stripped down versions of State Radio and Dispatch tunes in a sit-down, laid-back setting.
This year, Chad has invited "some good friends" and moved the second annual benefit weekend next door to the recently-renovated Arts at the Armory Performance Hall in Somerville! On Friday night, Michael ‘Mad Dog’ Najarian and Pete Francis will perform and Stephen Kellogg will share the stage on Saturday evening. Plus, keep an eye on callingallcrows.org in the coming days for additional announcements!
Mark your calendars for the weekend of December 11th & 12th, tell your friends and family, and then be sure to scoop up your tickets before they disappear!

We are releasing a special vinyl edition of "Let It Go." It comes as a 2-disc deluxe, 180 gram vinyl, and is also accompanied by a CD of digital tracks from "Let It Go."
