My son Robert works in Honkers as a University Prof/Lecturer This is "his day job" (he's got no night job/gigs happening due to red tape & he misses public performing very much). Robert has lots of broad & talented music strings to his bow eg: He's a hard working up and coming Film music composer, he's a Conductor, Singer, a brilliant Keyboard Player & Trumpert Player. Robert's a dedicated fan of your band's music and he had to support himself financially (his dad suicided when he was only 16yrs of age) by giging and playing your band's popular music in his own gigs all over Brisbane,Gold Coast& Melbourne for10 + years during his long music & academic study years. (Thank you and God bless you boys for your music has helped my son to stay focused & to achieve in his young traumatic life and to be able give back to others through his own gifted musical talents). Robert also studied in Edinburgh, Scotland for a year and was the1 st Australian ever to get into the Music Dept there. He also had to gig in Edinburgh as well, as he got sick of surviving daily on bake beans. But he made some great life long Scottish friends who took him under their wings. After Scotland he had to gig around in some great European (he loved East Germany) countries to make enough money to get outta there. He then went to work in Singapore, Leeds UK and Hong Kong as a University lecturer. Robert is not famous yet but deserves to be. He's always done & still doing those "love jobs" with no or very little money in hope he'll get the big break into the Film industry to achieve his life dream/goal to be a full time film music composer.Thanks for taking the time to read this.
