Strap-On Tools is a 4 member band from various parts of Ontario that come together to create their own special brand of music that they like to call “GoodCore” (though most people don’t know what that means, and refer to them as poppy-punk-rock.) How they come up with this music is anyone’s guess. Their diverse influences range from Rush, to The Pixies, from I Mother Earth to In Flames. Somehow it happens, though, and nobody seems to be complaining.

Having recently released their long awaited debut EP No Stone Un-Rocked, they have been playing a steady stream of shows around Eastern Canada, with plans to hit the West towards the end of summer.

Over its four year history, the band has seen many line-up changes, but the same focus and drive has always been there. As serious as the Tools are about their music, they always… ALWAYS make sure that they are having a good time, and include their audience in the fun whenever possible. If it’s hanging out with fans before or after a show, crowd interaction from the stage or excessive use of the strapontools.org web forum, Strap-On Tools are very user friendly.

For lunch or for a snack, Strap-On Tools makes a nutritious choice. And what is lacked in nutrients is made up for in GREAT TASTE! Although it isn’t recommended you eat No Stone Un-Rocked, there is little doubt that it would be an explosion of flavour in your mouth as it is in your ears when you hear it!
