Strydir Lee was founded by singer/songwriter Nick Leyland and drummer Jon Wilson in late 1997. Strydir Lee, in it's current state, is a 4 peice band with a unique sound that blends elements of folk, rock, funk, blues, and jazz. Nick Leyand is a prolific songwriter and provides the majority of the band's material, although significant writing contributions have been made by all band members. The group can be seen performing at various venues around the Toledo area as well as at universities and clubs throughout the Midwest.
