With the great american songwriter Stephen Foster as an uncle and the inventor the synthesizer Bob Moog as a cousin, it is little wonder why Suzanne Smith is in the music business. The NYC based singer/songwriter has been writing songs ever since she can remember. One week after mailing out her very first demo, Suzanne found herself in the offices of Eddie O'Loughlin who signed her on the spot. She has spend the last year and half developing her songwriting skills with many and varied collaborators from Kit Hain (Cher/Roger Daltrey), Jimmy Greco (Jennifer Lopez) to Indie rocker Kevin Salem (Dumptruck) and even 80's superstar, Rick Astley! Some of Suzanne's songs have been recorded by Jamie Lynn Sigler of the Sopranos, Posh Spice, and Kym Marsh of the first pop idols show in the UK. The SAF team of Christian B and Marc Dold (remixers of Enya's super smash "Only Time") are the producers on her new record "American Girl" which is being released on Next Plateau/Universal Records in January 2004.
