Symphony of Nine was born in the Summer of 2003. It began in high school when two childhood pals, Scott Dion Brown, singer and guitarist, and Colin Campbell, singer and keyboardist, met a new friend: Giovani Agostini... bass. The three of them made fast friends and soon their common love for music made it evident that a band was to be born.
Their high school years were spent rehearsing and writing songs. They would hone their craft playing before their school in assemblies and school events. The summer they graduated from high school meant a new beginning for the trio. It was time to finally use what they had spent all their high school years learning how to do. After going through a plethora of other musicians who auditioned to fill the necessary gaps in this five piece trio, they were suddenly graced with the presence of Radek Smaczny; his Pink Floyd inspired, anti-80's style of guitaring became the perfect section to the Symphony. All that was needed was a drummer. After going through multiple drummers who, although talented, could not fill the Symphony's void, the perfect musician came from a place a little closer to home. Brown's younger brother, Taylor, had secretly been learning the art of drumming for years. He was the perfect final piece to the puzzle.
