T-Lee, born as Tyris Lee; is a New Orleans native who has roots from the uptown Magnolia and Calio Projects. Although he was raised in the Lower 9th Ward, he is known throughout.
The young rapper is known for his hard core lyrics and his New Orleans street slang. In 2001, the 16 year old T-Lee put out the hot hit single, “Let Me Get That out Cha”, under the label of Dirty Money. Due to inconsistencies under this label, the contract was voided. Now, he’s back… under the Label DesFly, with a new twist to the game and determined to take it back! His next album will be out in the beganing of 2008. Although he is known by producers, KLC, MADD Science and other local producers; T-Lee produced most of the tracks on this album with big support from Peaches Records and Mia X.
With the label Dirty Money, T-Lee has done eleven shows between New Orleans and Mississippi; touring with Hot Boy Ronald, Take FO Artist, Baby Boy, Partners in Crime, Young Gangsters, and other New Orleans rappers just to name a few. T-Lee also has a huge fan base in Yazoo, Mississippi.
