  • TV on the Radio To Perform on Saturday Night Live and The Colbert Report

New York…and if there were an award for most mentions as album of the year, TV on the Radio would’ve won that too. Now the most number-one-iest band of ’08 takes on the new year with an appearance on Saturday Night Live, this Saturday (naturally), February 7th, hosted by actor Bradley Cooper, of… acting fame.

The following Monday will see the band visit with Steven Colbert on The Colbert Report. The political pundit rarely invites musicians to perform on the Report, yet Colbert is no stranger to the rock music, having staged a Guitarmageddon with the Decemberists and professed openly his crush on singer Feist multiple times. He will no doubt have something special in store for the Brooklyn quintet when they stop by on February 9.
