  • Fantastic atmopshere, fabulously produced!!
  • I bought Colour Of Spring on cassette in WHSmith in Kingston in 1986.. I was 13. I remember listening to it over and over andover on my rubbishy Dixons walkman. Just put it on (on remastered cd of course) for the first time in a couple of years. Still transfixing.
  • Brilliant songs that are so atmospheric . You hear them differently every time.
  • I love this band. It's one of the best bands I have discovered. I only listened two albums: The party's over and The colour of spring. The colour of spring is a real masterpiece as I see it. I believe the 2 albums after that are same good. This is really great synthpop, instrumental, ambient, post-rock, or whatever band. I can't get enough of them.
  • It's difficult for me to choose. I am very partial to the early albums. Several songs I consider "MUST HAVES". Tomorrow Started would probably be my favorite, followed by Candy, The Party's Over, Today, Such a Shame, It's You, Give it Up, April 5th and Happiness is Easy. The crooning, haunting vocals of Mark Hollis along with the use of a mixed media of instruments was the key for me. My Foolish Friend ReMix is pretty good too. I bought Spirit of Eden and was somewhat disappointed in that ... More...
  • I've yet to hear any music which moves me as much as "Spirit of Eden" and "Laughing Stock". Quite often I like to play them one after the other and lose myself. Sweet
  • I hope someone remembers to plat "Inheritance" at my funeral service.
  • I just started a "fan Club" on face book as there wasnt one! Its called Talk Talk (The band)
