In less than a year, TamLyn has become one of the most sought-after bands on the California Irish music scene. Fiddler Cathy Alonzo is a Viola champion who has played with some of the world's finest Symphonies. Guitarist Lyn Davies spent years in the company of English Folk revivalists such as Fairport Convention, the Fureys, John Renbourne, and Dave Swarbrick, to name a few. Added to this potent mix is some amazing new talent. Singer and bodhrán player Christa Burch's flexible, expressive voice is being compared to June Tabor, Sandy Denny, and Susan McKeown. Young James Hamilton is fast gaining a reputation as one of the finest flutists America has ever produced.
