Tandem Felix is a 3 piece post grunge band from Dublin. They started about a 3 years ago and have been through a lot in that time.
They started off their band career coming one point short of victory at Colaiste Phádraig in the Battle of the Bands 2005. They played an exciting Christmas Party at Commercials Rowing Club, Island Bridge; they took part in the much hyped Upload Festival, in which they performed to a crowd of over 300 people.
They recorded a demo, 3 songs called The Bong Song, Gl..amore and Eighty Four, with Pen2Paper Productions, in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, in early September. The band entered the Noise Festival in Tallaght and they got past the preliminary round in The Colaiste Phádraig Battle of the Bands 2006 as did five other bands out of eleven groups. They took part in The 100 Bands Gig in The Vaults under Connelly Station and completed their 7 song EP called "The Limitations of The Senses" in early 2007.
In 2007, they played as special guests at the Castleknock College Talent Show and played an acoustice set at the Chapelizod Community Festival. They also took a spot at Upload 2007, opening up for bands Safe Destination, Ballons 4 Mark and She Saves the Night. They also took first place at the Quarryvale Battle of the Bands for suicide awareness playing the Bong Song for the first time in almost a year.
