Hi Andrew. I first discovered you about 4-5 years ago with that "Badwrong Falsepaul" song you posted on your "Paul is Dead" website. I really dig that song, and my girlfriend still listens to it regularly. I also liked a couple other songs, like "Working for the Man" (which is a dead ringer for Fountains of Wayne) and "Go Doe." I could tell from your music that you had a very insular sense of humor, and that clicked with me because I think I have that too-- actually, I know I do. Anyway, this... More...Hi Andrew. Anyway, this theory was confirmed after I watched your, um, unusual movies on Newgrounds. Good job on those, BTW. I had made some weird flash movies in the past too, and jeez, Flash is a pain in the ass to use. It took me a month back in 2001 to make a 2 minute movie-- maybe it's easier now. Oh, and then I noticed that you were a huge Kinks fan-- which I am too. Well-- maybe not as much as you, but from 1996-2003 or so, I listened to them a LOT, and bought all their albums from 1964-1974 or so (I stopped after Preservation, which I thought was not so hot-- please don't hurt me). Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you have at least one fan out there. Oh yeah, I dig the new stuff too-- "Everything's Gone Wrong" is pretty keen. I also have been making music for several years and have been putting songs on the internet, hoping some person will stumble on them and actually like them, and tell their friends. Naturally, this hasn't quite happened yet since there are about 10,000,000 songs on the internet, but I have to say, I liked your marketing technique of drawing people in with a somewhat unusual offering (details on Paul McCartney's apparent death) and getting song exposure through that. I'm guessing this wasn't a carefully orchestrated effort to bring attention to your songs, but nevertheless, pretty slick! It worked on me. Well anyway, just wanted to encourage you to keep up the good work. Let me know what you're up to these days.
