Oct 16 2007, 07:08 AMI agree with the David, the Au Pairs were a fantastic band and very underated. Back in the 80s all the cool girls loved the the Au Pairs, so a lad like me got into them and I still love their music.

Oct 05 2007, 12:19 PMBack in the 80's there were two albums i would always hear at parties - 1. Violent Femmes - Violent Femmes 2. Au Pairs - Playing with a different sex 'It's Obvious' from the latter, is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. Gang of Four get a lot of praise heaped on them these days with the emergence of Franz F, Rapture, Bloc Party etc, which is great, but recognition is long over due for this band and particularily their first album.
