  First exposure came while they were "The Bangs." I couldn't get to a show, but picked up the eponymous EP in '83, just after they had changed their name. 1984 saw me catching an album release show in a bowling alley in Eagle Rock, CA of all places, and I got to hobnob with the gals. The following year, Sue came to one of my band's gigs, even remembering my King Crimson T-shirt from the bowling alley gig.
