This Friday, June 12th is our first big hometown show of 2009!
We are really excited to be playing at World Cafe Live Downstairs with our old pals, The Bridge. We've been friends with these guys for years and played many times together, but this is actually the first time we are sharing the stage with them in Philly. So come a little early to check their set out, throughout the night you might get a few surprises...

Joining us on drums will be the venerable Erik Johnson, of Huffamoose fame. He is truly a monster on the kit, and something of a legend round these parts, we are honored to be playing with him.
We'll also be debuting a different set with some new material, along side some older stuff. We hope you like it...
Starting the night off right will be local songwriter and friend, Cowmuddy doing an acoustic set...

Greetings people, it's been a while since you've heard from The Brakes. We're back and we're here to announce our return to the Main Stage at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
We'll be playing a special show with our longtime friends The Bridge on Friday June 12th, Downstairs @ WCL. This show is the first time The Brakes will be playing an ALL AGES show in Philadelphia in 2009, and we hope that you'll come out and show your support!
