Everybody keeps asking us to give more info. It seems we're shrouded in mystery. We like to call it "toiling in obscurity" ... Our critics would say "obscuring the toiletry" ... Fair enough.
Well, what would you like to know? We went to Nova Scotia once. It seemed like another country, which was unexpected, even though it is another country. Just so durn close! But no, they have their own ways and customs there. Have you ever heard of "Canadian bacon"? (don't answer if you're Canadian, duh) Well, it's ham. That's all, just some ham. Bacon is bacon, ham is ham and never the twain shall meet, except within the jubbly flesh that stands upon a pig's feet. Ewwwww.

Thirteen people at our last show. You layabouts need to get up and come to The Chief Smiles shows. Really sad. Most amazing bands give you their all even if there's only 2 people in the audience. Well we need at least 2500, so step it up.
Come on, "does anyone remember laughter?" Alex can't even make himself laugh. Sarah gives him the hairy eyeball and insults his sartorial savoir fair whilst her boyfriend squawks about the "gain" ... Brian cries puddles onto the drumskins. Sure, it's tears of onion, and yeah they splash awesome like a late 80s hair metal or Cher video, but still. And Glenn ... What does Glenn do? He gets shitfaced and makes Sarah and Alex carry all his equipment.
Naw, we're just busting your chops. "Batman! I call you coward!"

It's pretty hard work posting on MySpace and iLike/Facebook. I feel like someone should be paying us for this, but it's not worth a dime. Anyway, there's a chance we might play our new song "Epidemic" at this show on the 23rd at Arlene's Grocery. That would be amazing/awe-inspiring/soul-saving/tear-jerking. You will cry tears of gold as you ascend to heaven, then plummet back to earth when the song ends, bumping your head. God, we're so famous.
