  saw Joe and the Clash in slOmaha just after Mr jones departed ...Joe didnt strum much at all; he covered his right ear and belted out : "my daddy was a bankrobber who never hurt nobody ..." miss ya Joe !!

  I saw,at the time when the clash were split into two "clashes",the Joe strummer version,in the mid 80s'.Providence civic center.Joe(RIP)and Paul siminon autographed my shirt,and I gave Joe a button to wear,and he said thanks and put it on his lapel.Short guy.Same height as me.Paul was taller.It was quite a memory.Paul and his girlfriend were seen in my hometown of NewBedford,at one of the most seediest bars,having a beer and bog of chips,that day.I wish I still had the shirt....
