ABOUT US
Welcome to the garageband/iLike home of The Dreamer and the Sleeper. Here's a little background information on us and our music! The Dreamer and the Sleeper is comprised of two recording artists: Nick Pappageorgas and Easton Broome. One of us resides in San Diego and the other in Santa Barbara California. It seems like a lot of distance between us but it is nothing compared to the Bay Area/San Diego thing we had going on for the past 2 years. We have begun work on our live show by rehersing at our half-way point: Los Angeles. We plan to play many more live shows in the near future! Somehow we managed to get over the "minor" distance hurdle and make everything work enough to record an EP as well as a full length album! We did all of the recording, and mixing and all that good stuff on our own. We did all of this by sending demos, vocal tracks, guitar tracks, egg shaker tracks... everything! either over the internet or through the mail. It was a long process but we are just finished up our first full length album entitled "Fireworks" which we have decided to relased for free in MP3 format on our mypsace page. We plan to release a hard copy of Fireworks for sale in the near future. The EP we released this past winter was a collection of b-sides from the "Fireworks" recordings that we called "Oh, is for Overture EP". This EP is available for purchase in limited edition copies (1 of 50) or for digital download on our myspace page for free.

About the name... neither one of us is the Dreamer, neither one of us is the Sleeper. We are The Dreamer and the Sleeper. Thanks for stopping bye!
