Thus far, The Fold has released two full lengths and one EP on EMI/Tooth & Nail Records. Directly following the release, the band spent their summer on the Van’s Warped tour selling records directly to their fans. They made their success a certainty, selling almost 2k CD’s on their four week stint with the tour.
Charging forward with their DIY spirit, The Fold hooked up with Plain White T’s and Spill Canvas on their own dollar to support their 2008 sold-out UK tour. The band dominated the merch table, selling 1200 CD’s in just two weeks and completely funding their trip – while creating a rabid following all the while.
Upon returning to the US, The Fold decided to leave Tooth & Nail with a new
vision of what their career should look like, focusing on distributing
their music in untapped markets abroad — something that was just
not happening in their former label situation. With major personnel changes at the label later that year, their decision was evident that the right decision was made.
With their new-found liberation the band headed directly into Tree Sound
Studios in Atlanta Georgia with Zack and Kenneth (Cartel, All Time Low,
Mayday Parade). The team had always been a major believer in the band,
so much so that they jumped at the opportunity of making this record.
All parties worked feverishly with the bright future of the band in
mind, and in Winter 2008 The Fold completed their most single-packed,
powerful album to date!
“Our fans are a constant source of inspiration to us, sometimes I think I draw more from them than they do from me” says singer/songwriter Daniel Castady. “What we have in the U.S. has grown so strong, it’s like a family that has just been expanding over the years, basically just by word of mouth. We love it, and now we’re excited to build that up all around the world!” The Fold’s average fan is as ravenous as they come, evident at their shows and online.

I have been a huge fan ever since you played Harvestmoonfest in Edmonton several years ago. You guys are my second-favorite band ever, second only to Relient K, which is certainly nothing to be ashamed of, as you probably know :)
If you came back to Edmonton, or anywhere in Alberta for that matter, I wouldn't miss it for the world!
