The Blues Foundation’s 2008 "Best New Artist Debut" nomination of their first release, "Left Coast Blues", has brought national attention to this jump blues foursome. The group’s inspiration comes from traditional American roots of blues, R&B, jazz, and early rock and roll. The quartet is fronted by vocalist/guitarist Vyasa Dodson, who draws inspiration from many of the Left Coast's most highly regarded and influential musicians including Hollywood Fats, Little Charlie Baty and Junior Watson.
