    I consider Canadian musician/producer Daniel Lanois (u2 producer) to be the greatest slide player there is. Jedson Project is a close second. This music is not just melodic, but well thought out, has depth and life to it; you can tell the artist understands not just music technique, but how music affects the emotions and soul. My favorite song on this page is DL, but they're all fabulous.
