Mar 03, 05:23 PMlouisiana blog from johnnyHey Hey kids... just woke up to find ourselves in sunny Florida after some slammin shows in Louisiana. Friday night in Lafayette, good crowd, good set, hit the bus and drove straight to New Orleans the minute the Crue finished up. Went out for some late night drinks and tried to take in some cajun sweetness. Saturday, woke up and it was hot balls outside, gotta love the south. Went and drank some lunch on bourbon st. and took some pics with random fans that recognized us out on the street. Some crazy storm started rollin in and it got cold and windy so we headed back. Apparently bad weather has been following us around the south. Got into stage clothes, some cold Abitas, and layed it down hard in the New Orleans arena which is right next to the Superdome. Back to the bus, off with the really smelly clothes and back into our marginally smelly clothes to get out for some saturday night jackassery. The Dungeon for starts, couple other places with lots of people stumbling around, then off to some rock clubs. Met some friends from local bands and kept it goin til bus call at 3am... woke up in Florida which almost gets us up to speed. Everything is going great and nobody has gotten in a fist fight yet so that's cool. Time to go jam some groovin tunes and drink a big crazy tropical thing out of a pineapple. gotta love rock n roll.... talk to you later... -Johnny

In other news, cold as hell in St. Paul today....definitely not on the west coast anymore as this time machine called a tour bus leaves every night after the gig around 2am, and you wake up at the arena of the next day figuring out which way is up (and where the nearest bathroom is). The Republican National convention was here back in Sept. or something, and I think we may have Sarah Palin's dressing room today. Or at least we can dream.... Today is the third day we've had the iTunes single of the week on their main page, and the response is great from the crowd. People are singing along to I'm Bad at every show now. Creating bad people in every town, sing along our friends. It's good to be bad. Our TM knows of a late night gentlemen's club where he's king VIP, or part owner after years of patronage, so we'll see what that's all about in a few....Adios 'til Green Bay tomorrow.

Feb 18, 06:23 PMChicago Video Shoot- Rolled into Chicago late night Sunday to shoot a video all day Monday at the Double Door. Double Door is home turf for the Vegas, and it's cool that the directors wanted to shoot there. City scenes, LSD, El Tracks, cop cars, a big dirty city in the wintertime. Did some live footage on the famed stage, along with clips of bathroom stalls, make-up, dancing chicks, bar brawls, and street urchins. Bad boys caught on tape in an even worse city. Got yelled at by the valet at the fancy restaurant next door cause the bus was blocking his stall. Ooops. Finished the wrap, escaped the pissed Russian valet and headed out to some local haunts in Wicker Park w/ the crew for a few before bus call to Iowa. Almost felt like we were back home for a second. The directors seemed pumped on the video footage and the shoot at the end of the day; funny thing cause none of us really knew what we were doing. Chad made love to the camera.

Chad Cherry here comin' at you from the Motley Crue tour! The Last Vegas are rippin' the holy hell out of all that get the chance to witness the chaos of real rock-n-roll. This is a beautiful thing my friends!
We just destroyed my home state - the dirty mitten- a.k.a Michigan. We did countless radio interviews and on air performances, a few meet and greets. Got tour tattoos with Doctor Detroit at the Electric Chair in Flint followed up by decadent show at Flints famous Machine Shop. THe next day we played a double header in Grand Rapids. First we blew the roof off the Van Andel Arena and then carried the mayhem over to the Intersection for a night that no one will ever forget! It was friday the 13th and Chad Cherry came home to kill it... And as all good horror shows are, I'm looking forward to the sequel. If you haven't got a ticket for this show yet you are missing out on history in the making! Everybody is firing on all cylinders, and this Rock-n-Roll train is burning thru your town! This just might change your life!

Feb 17, 05:54 PMCheap Trick & The Last Vegas in Rockford2 of us are from Rockford, IL, and last night at the gig probably one of the coolest things in our lives happened. Rick Nielsen, guitarist and founder of Cheap Trick, jumped up onstage for our last song and jammed 'I'm Bad'. The guy's got moves, style and class, not to mention Cheap Trick is a massive influence for The Last Vegas. Rockford's audience went fu*%king nuts when Rick came onstage. What a trip; having the local legend jammin' with ya. Another one for the books...

Feb 15, 12:27 PMMadison, WIValentines day in Madison, WI tonight, and The Last Vegas sends some hot love. We used to come up and see shows here all the time growing up, Megadeth, Pantera, Ozzy, the works...now we're playing the arena. Pretty crazy. Before the show we did a Motherf$*cker of the Year Pre-Party acoustic set at the Badger Bowl bar sponsored by WJJO, the local rock station spinning I'm Bad. Super crowded at 4pm, and we did acoustic versions of new songs off the upcoming record; I'm Bad, Apologize, and Whatever Gets You Off. People were diggin. Maybe something will leak out online next week. Back to the arena stage to set the show off right for Theory, Hinder and The Crue. The Crue was even more awesome tonight than usual. Nikki was all over the stage.

Feb 06, 05:04 PMfirst blog from the road- and we're in vegas tonight!the tour kicked off monday night in san diego and its been a non stop rock n roll fantasy land. the second night in reno nikki sixx even had an extra bottle of jack daniels delivered to our dressing room after the show. the whole thing is a circus of insanity and the devil is the ring leader. we rock las vegas for the first time tonight kicking off a two night stand. were gonna blow the roof off the joint. tonight and tomorrow are the last two shows this venue will ever see. its just us and motley crue and theres no greater way for us to pop our las vegas cherry. all bets are off and the sin city is on fire tonight!
