We got together in February of 2000. Andy, Aaron, Jason, and John were in a music class together. They decided to form a hardcore band. Andy knew Mike and David, who both wanted to be in a band. John knew Rick. They got together to practice and decided to stick with it. John origionally was the DJ, but replaced Jason as a bass player when we parted with him. The Manhattan Project has been together ever since. However, they took about 4 months to finally come up with the name of the band. There were many ideas for band names, but Andy came up with the permanent one: The Manhattan Project.
