except...Colin, your right. This isn't the Mary Janes from Ireland. This is some other MJ band, which I've never heard of before. I want the albums of the Irish one!

You can hear lots more at the imeem.com Mic Christopher Group. My profile there can be reached at www.imeem.com/micchristophergroup.com. I’ve got the Skylarkin’ album as well as Glen & Mic Live in Vienna posted there. I also have a few tracks from some of the albums and live performances Mic recorded with his band The Mary Janes. I haven’t had a chance to explore what’s available here at iLike or how to us it, but if I can figure out how to add them here on iLike I will. I know that the Skylarkin' album and the Heyday EP are available for download on i-tunes as well as for order on the Road Records site, and I’ve heard a rumor that some of The Mary Janes albums may be available there eventually. Everything I have on imeem.com is also posted on my MySpace page at www.myspace.com/imeemmicchristophergroup. I’ve also posted just about every Mic or Mary Janes video I could find on YouTube there. Mic’s Myspace page has some great videos as well. The Mary Janes also have a MySpace page with videos and songs. I believe that three or four of the tracks in their song player are downloadable mp3s, I got a few of mine there. Also, keep an eye on Glen Hansard’s band The Frames, because they perform a lot of covers of Mic’s songs and I think Glen’s dedicated just about every album they’ve put out since Mic’s death to his memory.
