  I actually had an Ex Mighty lemon drop Join a band we had back in the early eighties for a while.... All I can say is that the guys who became the band we all know and love made the right decision to get rid of him lol :-)

  Kim, you are right on. I found out about Echo and the Bunnymen b/c of the movie Donnie Darko and then I found The Mighty Lemon Drops! They are a great 80's band!

  one of the reasons I like the 'Lemon Drops so much is that they emulated the Bunnymen sound...but they were still great in their own right.

  I discovered them toooo late. Id say the middle 90's is when I first listened. I sure am glad I did though.

  OK they were quite Bunnymen, tho McCulloch & co lost it after Ocean Rain....I recall seeing the Mighty Lemon Drops supporting the Mission at Wembley Arena in 1988. Jolly great they were too, especially Inside Out....

  i agree!!! the mighty lemon drops are one of the most under-rated bands of the 80's. Another song by them which is amazing is, The HeartBreak Thing. its so hard to find but it's soo good
