  Just got back from Friday's Schubas show. At the Foot of My Rivals is a solid cd from start to finish, but I especially love Revenge/Wait, and that's how they opened the show. The song off of Rivals really come to life live, and I was very impressed. Such a perfect setting for the tight acoustic sound. Great Show.

  At the Foot of My Rival The lo-fi, acoustic songs ("Revenge", "Hughes", "Blood on the Floor") are real standouts, and the rock tracks are denser and lusher than much of the Ams' previous work - although maybe not as rockin' as we were led to believe.   i LOVE the new ams soo much and their new cd kicks ass!! i love that it's getting back to the "rock roots". Hughes is my favorite song right now. Keep it up guys! Your influence and talent is greatly appreciated! =)
