Its a funny story. I was like "I want a band I play guitar!", I had a friend named kevin who replied, "I would like to join you in a band I play trumpet*". Then we both said in unison. "Lets find a token minority to play drums for us!" and so The Oatmeal Explosion was born. *Of course it only took a week for us to learn that we needed a bass and we didn't need a trumpet. The Obvious instrument switch was made.
