The beauty behind The Photo Atlas (Alan Andrews - Vocals/Guitar - Mark Hawkins – Bass - Bill Threlkeld III – Guitar - Nick Miles -Drums) is the brotherhood that encompasses the band. The Denver based quintet has been playing together for 5 years now. It was this relationship that was the adhesive behind the massive sound on To Silently Provoke The Ghost. The Photo Atlas has clearly mastered their live performance. The band's dynamic indie dance rock tracks are coated with vital melodies, explosive guitar riffs and demanding drum beats, which bring a sense of movement to each song. The Photo Atlas has been keeping busy since their previous album release No, Not Me, Never playing 2008 summer festivals such as the Monolith Festival with the Silversun Pickups, Tokyo Police Club and Vampire Weekend as well as the Mile High Festival with Tom Petty, Warped Tour, SXSW, CMJ and most recently they performed at the XGAMES X FEST in Aspen, CO.
