Veteran Texas Rockers. No fluff here, just ripping Southern guitar, smoking hot bass, and thunderous drums. This is the kind of rock and roll that never died, and never will. Lately assembled in the spring of 2001, The Red Rogers Band is an Austin, Texas, blues-based, Southern rock trio with so much guitar-driven power and back-woods, deep-south soul that you are likely to jump up on something and shout your approval for the whole world to hear. You won’t be heard, though, because these boys play their infectious style of American rock and roll LOUD, and they deliver it with attitude, fiery showmanship, and a passion that only comes from deep down in the gut of musicians who were simply born to rock! The talented and charismatic Red Rogers pulls double duty as vocalist and guitarist of The Red Rogers Band. He takes a Fender Stratocaster through the full gamut of emotions, from crying to screaming, and his heartfelt, gutty vocals will take you on an emotional roller-coaster ride as well. For a lot of years, Red’s honed his blistering guitar chops in southern rock bands all over Texas, and he’s been on the same bill with rock greats like Pat Travers and Molly Hatchet. Red Rogers doesn’t just play the guitar…he owns it, and he’s out to prove it every time he walks on stage. On bass you will find Texas-born Grant Wishes: a workhorse who’s as solid as a tank and relentless as Texas July heat. His thunderous, machine-gun battery style, honed in great Texas precision metal bands like Wounded Child and Black Hole, is just what the doctor ordered for this roaring southern rock ensemble. Knocked down too many times to count, this fighter just keeps getting up and putting himself right where only the elite bass players stay: IN YOUR FACE! Cut through the lights, the smoke, the cymbals and a rack of vintage toms, and you will find the unlikely glue that holds The Red Rogers Band together: David Wade. He couldn’t be any badder without being arrested, and he couldn’t be any smoother without being silk. After hitting the road in a rock band when he was only 15, Dave went quickly from hungry drum student to benevolent percussion master, and a lot of young hotshots are still learning from him today. After playing with some of the best, he has found a home with the very best, and he both anchors this monster rock machine firmly to the ground and sets it free to soar into musical rarified air!
