.The Rowan Amber Mill formed in 2007 by Stephen, with Kim and Terry joining in early in 2008.
The band that now breathes & records in the Westcountry air.
The Rowan Amber Mill are purveyors of Pastoral Folkadelica / Weird Folk. The sound is Acoustic Guitars, Bouzouki, Electric Guitar, Banjo, Wobbly Bass, paint pots & percussion, a voice & whistles recorded in disused sheds in the Westcountry. The music is produced out of love of both 60s & 70's folkists and the current crop of “nu-folkists” such as Espers, Tunng & Circulus. Modern tales of the timeless. Images hidden within pastoral landscapes. Music first & last. Expansive & Free. Cheese & Onion.
