  • The Soul Stirrers have got to be my all-time favorite group, well, after The Taylor Brothers(my Dad and his brothers, of which I sung for two years before my Dad passed in 1986). Anyway, my Dad, his twin brother, and Sam Cooke were good friends after they shared the same stage in 1952. I have a lot of their recordings from R.H.   • This is one of my favorite gospel singing group, Of course My uncle Leroy Crume was the first one to play gituar with that group, when sam cooke got with them.
