    Can all you lucky American bluegrss fans who actually get to see the great Dr. Ralph live please pass on a message that he has fans down in Australia - namely me - who would cross mountains of Appalachian proportions to see him. I know he's getting older and probably doesn't appreciate the travellin' so much these days, but please Dr. Ralph, we surely could show you a good ol' time down here in Australia...

    I am a huge fan of bluegrass and The Stanley Brothers are the best of the best. I wish I could have seen Carter but he died long before my time. I've seen Ralph on numerous occasions and it was such an honor because he is a living legend.

    The Stanley Brothers' music is one of the greatest examples of first generation bluegrass music. Their high lonesome sound still lives on today and all of us deeply miss the late Carter Stanley.
