The Stateside Menace began in the side streets and gutters of Melbourne, Florida. After a single show in an office bedecked with Christmas lights, the band moved to Nashville and got down to business. The result is a glorious fusion of driving beats, furious riffs, and zip-line melodies that invoke all sorts of influences (Britpop, glam, Johnny Mathis, and space rock just to name a few) and yet consistently explore new sonic territory. Their live show has to be seen to be believed and most nights involve the breaking of at least one well-established law of physics. The Stateside Menace performs with a passion that can't be matched and the precision of a team of rock 'n roll surgeons. Surgeons in tight leather pants and glittery shirts who are not only renowned practicioners of their craft, but fashionable as well.
