Hey all,
Sorry about the delay with the round up for last week..Will not waste time and let you get on with all the fun stuff we have here. We've got ONLY video footages for this one so it will take a bit of a time to watch them all, but promise that every single one of them will be worth it!
So let's start...The pair sat down with The Los Angeles Times before the L.A. gigs and they gave an interview and performed a few songs. Click here to view it all.
Also, while in L.A. Glen and Mar did a live concert for The Room Live that was streamed on the net for all of you to watch. They will put up the performance on the website on a later date for those who missed it but they have some behind the scene photos up now from the day.
The L.A. gigs were one of the biggest highlights of last week. Especially when non else but Jason Segel joined the band to sing his very own song to the audience..it is mainly about how to use his celebrity status to get a date with a Swell Season fan..so guys listen to him & learn all you need to know;)..Promise you'll have some fun watching this one!
Another gig that made it up the internet was the exclusive Triple Door show The Swell Season had played in Seattle a month ago. Visit Kexp Radio's Youtube Channel to watch the band perform songs like Falling Slowly, Buzzin' Fly, Leave, Feeling The Pull, Low Rising and that new song that doesn't quite have a name yet but lots of you keep calling it Long Gone, so who knows it might stick...
And on the note of a new song... This following and last footage for this week's round up is not quite from last week - more from the week before - but it captured a truly great moment...Watch the legend that is Moji join the band from the audience on stage in Houston and jam to a brand new song with Glen..great voice, epic performance..
Those of u who missed it last week....There are a very limited number of fine art prints of the drawing of the Strict Joy cover available from the creator David Cleary. See details on the poster below.
Enjoy and we'll see you this Sunday with the next round up!
xxx
