Formed in September 2006, The Tragedy of Mariam struck the scene with a huge impact. Later in 2007/2008 they parted ways with a couple members totally changing their sound and quickly started turning heads once more giving them opportunities to perform with such bands as Johnny Truant, Fozzy, One Mans Opinion, Kid Gib, The Flatliners, Cities Between Us and more. Thus Far, the band has recorded a debut album “Smile ur Watched” released independently in July 2008, you can get a sneak peak here on garageband, myspace, or purevolume before purchasing the album. The Tragedy of Mariam has set up a tour of Ontario and Quebec and are continuing to book shows locally and out of town, constantly promoting the band being heard by many around the globe. They are always diligently at work whether it be booking the next line up of shows, preparing for an upcoming show or just working on new material for your listening pleasure.
