The Turnpikes are a southern style rock band from Chestertown, MD. With a mix of country, rock, and blues and the energy of harder rock, The Turnpikes have a very fresh sound while retaining a familiar feel. The Turnpikes released their first album titled Older Whiskey Younger Women Louder Music in mid October. The album features seven songs. Three of the songs were recorded and mixed by Dustin Broyles in Chestertown Maryland. The other four songs were recorded and mixed by Dick Hodgens and Ian Shrier in Raleigh, North Carolina.
