We are Volunteers. Rock music with a bit of a roll.. yes, the Volunteers are served straight up in the single malt blend that is New York City. A quartet band led by songwriter Dan Goddard, joined by guitarist John Cave, bassist Dave Smith, drummer Paul Cigolini, the Volunteers have toured North America, while gaining homegrown critical acclaim. Volunteers recent album Spectrophilia, released September of 2008, was recorded with Producer Paul Mahajan (Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, TV on the Radio, The National) at Monsterland Studios in Brooklyn, NYC.
