Date: May 16th – July 3rd
2006 and 2007 were breakthrough years for pop-folk band The Weepies – their music appeared in dozens of primetime TV shows and films, they played festivals from the US to Europe, toured with the Indigo Girls, wrote with Mandy Moore, and topped the folk charts around the world.
So after the last two years, we figured we’d give The Weepies a rest and call on their fans to help create a video for their hit song “Hideaway.”
Not only will the winning video be the official ‘Hideaway’ video, but the winning filmmaker will also win $10,000 (and much more!).

HOW TO ENTER:
1. Download the song for FREE by clicking HERE
2. Listen to the song
3. Make a video for the song
4. Upload it to the group by July 3rd
The Weepies will judge all entries. The maker of the winning video will be awarded $10,000!
In order to upload your video entry you must be a user on Imeem and a member of The Weepies 'Hideaway' Video Challenge Group.
Its easy! Just follow these steps and you are on your way:
• If you are not yet registered on Imeem, you can do so by clicking HERE.
• Visit The Weepies Imeem Profile and add them as a friend.
• Visit The Weepies Group for the 'Hideaway' Video Challenge by clicking HERE and join the group.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

2. The video will become the OFFICIAL video for the single 'Hideaway' and will be serviced to all major online and television video outlets

SUBMISSION:
Please upload your video to The Weepies 'Hideaway' Video Creation Group by JULY 3rd. You may upload the video anytime prior to the deadline.
