  When I was 12, my Dad bought me a (probably bootlegged! LoL!!!) Yardbirds compilation cassette tape... It had "Evil Hearted You" and "Mister, You're A Better Man Than I" on it... I still listen to those songs in my rotation...and those cuts' still sound as Great as Ever!

  one thing that i must say is this, without the yardbirds, led zep would have never come about, beck wouldn't have become so popularized, and clap, well he might still be playin in those pubs. clap is the most technical guitarist of all time. thats what makes him special. beck, well his work with the whammy is something that i would write home about. but page, well i think he is just an over glammified session guitarist who got lucky to become the bassist of this fine band, and have the opp...   well train kept a-rollin wasent done by the yard birds its a clasic blues song but still yard birds a great band

  Did Aerosmith give ANY credit to the Yardbirds when they stole "Train Kept A-Rollin'"?
