  B4 1971, my 1st husb.Howie & I went 2 C them w/The Grateful Dead. (we also saw them w/Allman Bros.). We got backstage cuz Howie "had 2 join Uncle John's Band". I'm sure U can dig it (?!)*>><<*.The Dead were really cool; good ole Pigpen,R.I.P.,sittin' on the floor leaning against a wall/door?,passing a j. In another room were the Youngbloods--!! I couldn't get my feet 2 take me TOO, TOO close 2 Banana, w/ his hair even more way-out- there 'fro'd (Jewish/Howie;Banana?)--I guess seeing him in th... More...
