Aug 21, 10:44 PMWhat the world needs now...I've been thinking about life...and love. Not romantic love, but human love, or lack there of. It seems like everyone has a motive. We "love" people because it makes us feel better. We "love" people because we want them to have the same beliefs as us. The word "love" is tossed around so much, yet barely any of us has actually experienced true love. The love that expects nothing. The love that loves you not for who are or even who you could be, but just because you are. We are all in this together, yet we fight about everything. We are all human, we have all fallen short. We need to somehow short circuit that part of our brain that expects things from others, and instead start giving. No motives, no hidden agendas. Pure unadulterated full blown love! What would the world look like? What would the church look like?
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13
