Aug 28, 08:39 PMI saw Tom at the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham on July 3rd. Best damn concert I've seen in my life. He ended the show with "Come On Up To The House" and it was more moving than anything I've ever experienced. Kept a setlist too, if anyone's interested. -

Aug 22, 02:52 PMCome to Israel Mr. Waits! Your records are front and center in every music store! Seriously. Everybody I've ever spoken to in this country is a huge fan (and not just the hookers, bartenders, and has beens) and it is considered blastphomy to even attempt to sing one of your songs, per knowledge that it could not be done justice. Everybody in Israel would line up to for a concert in Tel Aviv, or Mitzpe Ramon to get that dusty feel.
