Jul 03, 04:05 AMI saw all of Tom Waits performances in Sydney, Australia in 1978 & he was brilliant. I wish he would come back! Closest I got was the staging of Black Rider as part of the Festival of Sydney a couple of years back.

Jul 01, 05:37 PMI saw Tom Waits in Dallas and there were a couple of things that were bothersome about the show. Nonetheless, I'd happily fork over the money again tomorrow to see him again under the exact same circumstances. I got the feeling I was seeing something...rare.

Jun 27, 06:45 AMI paid $235 for me and a friend, plus $70 for a rental car and $115 for gas there and back from Salina, KS to St. Louis last night, bringing me to a grand total of $420 dollars. Here's the kicker: I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. That was the most amazing live performance I've ever seen and that man is a living legend. I'll never forget this experience. Sign me up for the next tour and I'll be there with bells on!! Or should I say with confetti in my hair!! ;)
