  The King Center in Melbourne, Florida would be a perfect venue. Then I could bring my spouse and my elderly neighbors to see you. I'd promote that show like crazy, hand out fliers, whatever... I saw you play in Atlanta earlier this year. It was the best concert I've ever been to. I cried three times and welled up three other times. Other musicians have brought me to tears but never more than twice during the same show. Those who have moved me to that degree - Steve Morse, Bela Fleck & ... More... I've been to over one hundred concerts and just when I thought I'd seen it all, you, Tommy Emmanuel, rewrite what it is to be a master musician. It bodes well for you that guitar is my favorite instrument; the one with which a musician can be most intimate from the bending of a string to the slide up and down the frets; from a semi-tone squeal to a finger pluckin' sweet tune twangin' howdown. Please come nearer to my home or I'm going to have to move to Tennessee.

  Truly emotional. He's one of the 2nd generation of Chet Atkins & Jerry Reed Finger picking style. He used to play electric guitar before...knows Blues to Jazz. Compared to Eric Clapton, he mastered "Boom Chick". He has 2 Instructional DVD's I like: Emmanuel Labor and Close-ups. You should see & hear his "Mystery and Digger's Waltz. And it's true, as you get older, you get better and more refine. :)

  Cocoa Theater and the surrounding neighborhood is much like the Variety Playhouse and neighboring shops in Atlanta where Tommy E played July 30th. I think that would be one helluva venue to enjoy his music. I personally NEED Tommy to come here so I can take my wife and elderly neighbors as none of them can handle the drive and/or cost of the flight to get to Atlanta.
