The Hokaben Festival is a new three day festival which runs from Friday the 7th until Sunday the 9th of November. Held at 93 Feet East on East London's culturally vibrant Brick lane; it looks to be a very special event. Plus it's money well spent at £60.

Featuring a great line-up, including Southern Records' very own Todd and Trencher. Also appearing are Kranky Records'Boduf Songs, Upset the Rhythm'sCHOPS and Capsule Records'Beestung Lips.
This festival promises to be different, promoting the idea of bringing together an elaborate collection of underground music. As Hokaben proudly boasts; 'not a single foppish indie band or yawnsome postrock band in sight'. Instead they have a range of acts promising to cater to your every audible need. And there are no major sponsors in sight upping the price of your poison of choice!
Consisting of four areas; the main stage, a smaller stage, a cosy little bar and an outside area for the smokers out there to get some 'fresh air'. Sounds great! So jump on this great opportunity to get your music fix over a weekend, grab a ticket (there are only 750 left, so get in there quick) and see some of Southern's finest in action!
