Uncle Riotous is an old friend of our Uncle Jamaal who records dub records in his studio at the back of his moped repair shop in downtown Beirut. The Encyclopaedia of Dub says that he discovered the power of dub when he met up with a group of Messianic Rastafarians who'd got a bit lost on the way to Ethiopia. Uncle Riotous has released a very fine album of righteous dub called Dub is a Battlefield. We look forward to more fine dub from Uncle Riotous soon - as soon as he's fixed Uncle Jamaal's moped.
