Featuring sisters Amanda Litz (vocals) and Emily Litz (guitar, vocals), and friend Ashley Kline (bass), Upheld hails from upstate New York. Though Emily and Amanda wrote and performed songs for several years before, Upheld officially came together in March 2008. We want to write and play songs those people can relate to, share our testimonies so they know that they aren't alone in their struggles, see is a real, tangible example of what Christ can do and tell them about His love.” Upheld garners musical influence from BarlowGirl, Skillet, Fireflight and Evanescence.
