  I wrote an 11000 word magazine article about Van McCoy, I tracked his halfsister, ex girlfriend, best buddy, co-writer, some of his singers and groups an dmore. The guy was an absolte genius. Trouble is the world will only remember him for "The Hustle" his contribution to soul music is vast and so much more than this seventies pop hit. There were very few singers from the Sixties who didn't record a Van McCoy song. They include Jackie Wilson, Gladys Knight, Betty Everett, The Ad Libs, The Mar... More...
